Abstract

In recent years, the growth of financial technology (fintech), especially e-wallets, has become a significant phenomenon in Indonesia. Even though the use of e-wallets is increasing, the demand for cash in society remains quite large. One of the benefits of using an e-wallet is that it reduces the need for cash, which can reduce the amount of money in circulation. This research uses quantitative survey data; it is a systematic approach to researching phenomena with numerical data and statistical analysis. Data collection uses a questionnaire sent via questionnaire, which contains written questions used to collect data. This questionnaire was then distributed and given to respondents for them to fill in and answer. This research uses frequency distribution analysis. The use of cash compared to e-wallets was chosen by the majority of respondents (50 percent).
