Abstract

Based on observations, it was found that learning at SD Negeri 1 Ramayana Lampung Tengah. This study was motivated by student learning outcomes that were not good enough in the Hindu Religious Education subject, especially class I, this was because students did not understand the material being taught, students were less interested in learning and students were less able to follow the learning process using image media in Hindu Religious Education learning, so that students had not obtained maximum learning outcomes, therefore researchers offered image media to improve student learning outcomes. The purpose of this study was to improve student learning outcomes by using image media. The formulation of the problem in this study was whether the use of image media could improve learning outcomes in Hindu Religious Education at SD Negeri 1 Ramayana. This research is a Classroom Action Research (CAR) with a cycle model that is carried out repeatedly and continuously. The subjects of this study were 14 first-grade students and the object was Hindu Religious Education learning. Data collection methods were carried out through observation, tests and documentation. The data analysis techniques used were quantitative analysis techniques and qualitative analysis techniques. The results of the study showed an increase in Hindu Religious Education learning outcomes. The increase in Hindu Religious Education learning outcomes can be seen from the increase in student learning motivation which has an impact on student learning completion from an average percentage in cycle I of 42% and an increase of 22% from the initial data. In cycle II the percentage was 64%.
