PENINGKATAN AKTIVITAS BELAJAR SISWA DENGAN MENGGUNAKAN METODE KOOPERATIF TIPE STAD (STUDENT TEAMS ACHIEVEMENT DIVISION) KELAS VII SMPN 2 BANDAR SURABAYA
Abstract
This research is motivated by several problems that occur in the learning activities of SMPN 2 Bandar Surabaya, so that the learning activities obtained by students have not reached the KKM that has been set. Based on observations, it is known that passive student activities in following the learning process and the lack of teacher variation in using methods affect the low learning activities of students. The purpose of this study was to determine the increase in learning activities of class VII students of SMPN 2 Bandar Surabaya in Hindu Religious Education learning using the STAD (Student Teams Achievement Division) cooperative method. This research is included in Classroom Action Research (PTK) which is carried out in two cycles. Each cycle consists of three meetings. One cycle consists of 4 stages of activity, namely the planning stage, the implementation stage, the observation stage and the reflection stage. The subjects of this study were class VII of SMPN 2 Bandar Surabaya with a total of 18 students consisting of 10 male students and 8 female students, in Hindu Religious Education learning in the 2022/2023 academic year using the Merdeka curriculum. The data collection techniques used in this study were qualitative and quantitative data analysis. The results of this study indicate that student learning activities in cycle I were 58% and in cycle II increased by 20% to 79%. The indicator of success in this study is an increase in student learning activities marked in cycle II by 20% to 79%.
