PENERAPAN METODE INQUIRY BASED LEARNING BERBASIS SCRAPBOOK UNTUK MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR SISWA KELAS IV SD NEGERI 3 MATARAM UDIK PADA MATA PELAJARAN PENDIDIKAN AGAMA HINDU MATERI TEMPAT SUCI
Abstract
This study aims to describe and apply indicators of improvement from the implementation of each cycle through the Scrapbook-Based Inquiry Based Learning Method in improving the learning outcomes of fourth grade students of SD Negeri 3 Mataram Udik in the subject of Hindu Religious Education on the material of Holy Places. This type of research is classroom action research with 2 cycles of implementation, and each cycle consists of 3 meetings. Each cycle has four stages, namely the planning stage, the implementation stage, the observation stage, and the reflection and analysis stage. The data analysis technique used in the study is descriptive analysis. While the data in this study were obtained from the results of observations, tests, and documentation. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that by implementing the Inquiry Based Learning Method in each cycle, there is an increase in the learning outcomes of grade IV students of SD Negeri 3 Mataram Udik. The completion of student learning outcomes during the pre-action period obtained a percentage of 33,33%, with an average value of 66. In cycle I, the completion of student learning outcomes obtained a percentage of 66,67% with an average value of 75. While in cycle II, the completion of student learning outcomes obtained a completion of 93,33%, with an average value of 81,33. From the results of observations of student learning activities in cycle I, the value was 65.54%. While the results of observations of student learning activities in cycle II increased with a value of 83.28%. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that by implementing the Inquiry Based Learning method, it can improve the learning outcomes of Hindu Religious Education, this is indicated by the percentage increase in each cycle I and II. Suggestions that can be given to teachers are to be more proactive in choosing learning methods, one of which is by using the Inquiry Based Learning method. The use of group-based learning methods so that the learning process is more active and interesting and not always centered on the teacher.
